Dr. Ahluwalia and her team are now practicing at Canadian Plastic Surgery Centre in Toronto, bringing their patient-focused approach to dermatology into a multidisciplinary environment dedicated to skin health, aesthetics, and personalized care.

Meet Dr. Renita Ahluwalia
Board-Certified Dermatologist | FRCPC
Dr. Renita Ahluwalia is a board-certified dermatologist with more than a decade of experience in both medical and cosmetic dermatology.
She completed her undergraduate studies in Winnipeg, earning both a B.A. and B.Sc. from the University of Manitoba before attending the University of Toronto for medical school.
She subsequently completed her dermatology residency at the University of Toronto, serving as Chief Resident during her final year in 2013.
Today, Dr. Ahluwalia continues to contribute to academic medicine and medical education. She holds an appointment within the University Health Network and serves as a lecturer at the University of Toronto, contributing to the education and training of future physicians.
Her professional experience also includes presentations at national and international medical meetings and recognition throughout her career, including from the Canadian Dermatology Association.
But the foundation of her approach extends beyond credentials.
Dr. Ahluwalia believes patients should understand their skin, their options, and the reasoning behind their care.
That philosophy informs the way she and her team approach both medical and aesthetic dermatology.
