Dr. Hassouneh is a Canadian board-certified facial plastic surgeon, a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and an adjunct faculty member at the University of Toronto’s Department of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery. After earning his medical degree with distinction from McMaster University, he completed his Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery residency at the University of Manitoba. He then pursued advanced fellowship training in California, where he trained with globally recognized leaders like Dr. Paul Nassif.
His surgical career spans Canada and the Middle East, including consultant roles at Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Medical Group in Dubai and Riyadh. He has also held staff surgeon and lecturer positions at institutions like the Eye Face Institute (North York), Victoria Royal Hospital (Barrie), Albany Medical Centre (Toronto), and the University of Toronto. These experiences reflect not only his clinical excellence but also his dedication to academic leadership and surgical education.
