Dr. Quinton Chivers



Dr. Chivers is board certified as a plastic and reconstructive surgeon by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeon's of Canada. He is the Chief of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery for Scarborough and Rouge Valley Hospital (Centenary) in Toronto, a Physician Major and designated plastic surgeon for the Canadian Armed Forces and the Medical Director of the Canadian Plastic Surgery Centre.
Dr. Chivers has over 10 years of experience in the surgery field, specializing in both cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. He has dedicated his practice to helping his patients with their appearance after massive weight lost, and to helping patient recover from their life-altering traumatic injuries, as well as providing rapid access to patients with skin cancers.
Dr. Chivers brings a wealth of experience to a variety of different surgical procedures. In addition to his aesthetic experience and expertise, he has extensive experience in upper extremity surgery, peripheral nerve and traumatic and oncoplastic microsurgical reconstruction and offers one of the most diverse range of treatment options to patients in The Greater Toronto Area. Dr. Chivers currently holds hospital privileges at Scarborough and Rouge Hospital, Trillium Hospitals and Mackenzie Health Hospital. Referring providers from Vaughan, Richmond Hill, Maple, Aurora, Newmarket, Pickering, Scarborough, Ajax, Pickering and Mississauga are welcome to send referrals to Dr. Chivers for reconstructive surgery. Dr. Chivers is also happy to accept referrals for post-bariatric body contouring procedures from anywhere across Ontario.

As a member of various leading professional associations, he combines his wealth of experience in reconstructive and cosmetic techniques with genuine patient care and compassion and has built a solid reputation as a highly skilled and sought-after surgeon amongst patients and colleagues alike.
As a recipient of many academic awards and research grants, Dr. Chivers has also authored and co-authored numerous scientific publications in Canadian and American Journals of Plastic Surgery and continues to present at hospitals, universities and annual meetings of his professional associations.
